FACTORS
The name "factor" is preferred instead of "planets" because the most elements of the horoscope aren't planets. It can be distinguished:
Points or axis, one Star, one Satellite, the Planets and the hypothetical Planets. This are the most used factors and symbols in the Uranian System of Astrology, Hamburg, Germany:
4 x Points (of intersection): Ariespoint (Cardinal-Cross), MC, AS, Nodes
1 x Sun (Sun-Earth-Axis)
1 x Sun (Sun-Earth-Axis)
1 x Satellites: The Moon
7 x Planets
1 x Dwarf Planet : Pluto (since 2006).
7 x Planets
1 x Dwarf Planet : Pluto (since 2006).
Additional, a much used possibility:
4 x Witte's Hypothetical Planets (Transneptunians)
4 x Sieggrün's Hypothetical Planets (Transneptunians)
4 x Witte's Hypothetical Planets (Transneptunians)
4 x Sieggrün's Hypothetical Planets (Transneptunians)
Socalled Trans-Neptunians, because the astronomers (and astrologers) searched for a 9th planet on the area behind Neptune, since the beginning of the 20th century.
The Axis of Cancer-Capricorn (the Winter-Summer-Axis) is defined as the Axis of the Earth. The northern annual horoscope cycle starts with the Sun on the Point of Capricorn. At the same time, the earth is on the Cancer-Point, the start of the 10th earth-house. At this moment, the Sun- and Earth-houses are the same. To this, the southern cycles are diametrical. The Aries-Libra axis, is defined as the Spring-Fall-Axis. Diametrical on northern and southern hemisphere, too.
The Aries-Point (AR), and for the northern hemisphere the Cancer-Point (CN), are the most mentioned representer of the Cardinal-Axis: Aries-, Cancer-, Libra- and point of Capricorn.
